My approach is simple; Treat each person and their skin individually. As a person who has encountered many skin concerns in the past, I understand the needs and frustrations of skincare for specific skin types, particularly for darker skin tones. There is a world of skincare available for our skin and I feel it’s all about accessing the right channels.
A little about me
I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008 with a Master of Pharmacy degree. I then started my pharmacy career as a resident pharmacist at Charing Cross Hospital in London. This led me to specialise as an anti-infectives pharmacist at West Middlesex Hospital where I also undertook a diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice.
My involvement in running various clinics within hospital led me into the world of pharmacist management where I soon took on the role of Outpatient Pharmacy Manager at King’s college Hospital.
I then went on to manage a range of community pharmacies, working closely with GP surgeries and clinics.
My interest in Dermatology enabled me to see patients in a primary care setting and review treatments for a variety of skin conditions. I undertook the independent prescribing training in 2019 at The University of Keele and went on to work as Dermatology Prescriber for a Private Dermatology company.
I also had various duties working as a Practice Based Pharmacist in a GP surgery, enabling me to further optimise patient healthcare.
